RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
Email info@luvscarlet.com, or message us on Instagram if you are interested in consignment. Please let us know brands and styles, and include a couple photos of each piece. REMINDER: We only deal in luxury handbags and accessories. We DO NOT accept clothing or footwear. For more information on the items we accept on consignment, please refer to our "Brands We Accept" page.
We only accept items in pristine, or excellent condition (at least a 9/10). We require that all items be free from damage, stains, and strong odours.
If you are local to the London, Ontario area, we will come to your house to photograph and video the items you wish to consign. We do not store the majority of items in our office. If your item(s) sell, we will retrieve them from you.
Not from the London area? No problem! We have consigners all over the world. Email, or message us on Instagram to get started.
If you would like to consign items with us, you must also agree to allow your items to be sold on layaway. Our layaway terms are: 30% down, and the remaining balance paid within 60 days.
IMPORTANT! We require that you allow us to try and sell your item(s) for a minimum of 90 days. During this selling period, we ask that you do not use/wear OR sell your item(s). Failure to do so will result in us terminating our consignment relationship, as well as any future purchases from Luv Scarlet Luxury.
Our consignment rates are as follows: Items less than $2000, you receive 70% of the selling price. Items $2000+, you receive 80% of the selling price. This is our standard for all handbags and accessories, and it not negotiable.
It is up to you, the consigner to check in on your sales, WE DO NOT CONTACT YOU! Sales from the previous month will be available anytime AFTER the 15th. Example: If your item sold June 15, your payout will be available July 15.
If you would like to use your earnings as credit to purchase something, you will receive an additional 10% on top of your earnings.
We only take items on consignment. We do not offer buyouts or trades.
All items will be authenticated before we can sell them. If an item is found to be fake, you will pay $25 for the process.
We require that you include ALL original packaging and accessories with each item (boxes, dust bags, authenticity cards, receipts, straps etc.) This will affect the resale value of your item(s).
Price is determined by us, based on our expertise. If there is a particular price you would like to get for an item, please let us know. We may adjust the price of an item up to 20% (sales, promo etc). This is at our discretion. If we are recommending a price adjustment of more than 20%, we will contact you.
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
